How will Rivera's defense be different?

Trust me on this one, the Chargers have more talent on their D roster than we do right now.

Not so... Most of there success came from Rivera's influence. The Panthers are in about the same spot as the Chargers were before he took over. Few all stars, and a bunch of good but not great players. Also there are a good many players that were not a very good match for Meek's scheme last year. Seems Hurney drafted one way and Fox/Meeks went another.

I absolutely disagree with the Panthers having as much D talent as SD, but like rayzor said, it's just our opinion.

IMO there is Beason, and then a huge drop off to the next tier of players. Gamble, TD, and Johnson would be behind him, but Waaaayyyyyy back.

500 for whats not right bob.

CJ was 7th in sacks last year.

TD you cant compare because of injury.

Gamble had no stats so thats a good thing for a CB.

Beason was Beason besides being shiffed around.

Anderson did very well.

Godfrey was 9th in INTS

The only spots that needed to be filled was DT and CB2. Both of them were less than spectacular but what do you expect from a Defense that stayed on the field for 3hr a game.

has everyone forgot about everette brown and greg hardy? im still feeling optimistic about them getting better, it'll be hardy's second year and brown's third, him being a 2nd round pick i think he'll finally show up at that opposite end. and not to mention we still have brayton, who at a time was white peppers and a #1 overall pick.
