We make any purchase we can on our credit card even if it's just a few dollars. We get cash back or gift cards from hundreds of places. It's easier to keep track of all our purchases this way, we can see where we are spending money. We have almost all our bills auto pay to the cc too. It makes things so much easier to do.

About the only time I use cash is when I go to garage sales.
