I have two, one Lowes card, and one Visa. Lowes card has a 0 balance, and the Visa has about a $600 balance.

I did have one of those credit cards that had all the rewards such as airline miles and hotel points. But we eventually traded it for a no frills credit card with a much lower interest rate. The airline miles just were not worth it.

Debit Card and BoA Visa that pays cash back... we use it on gas, groceries, etc. and then pay it off every month. We've got one other card just in case, but that's all, never use it.

For my company, we've only got one AmEx card.

I have a Visa check card though. I've been raised to not spend more than you earn so having a credit card goes against that. People having credit cards and spending more than they earn is the main reason that the country is in a financial crisis.

That's really a closed minded way of thinking.

Just because you have a credit card doesn't mean you spend more than you earn. Having a credit card can help you earn good credit. Ask sportstalk about it he knows first hand and has talked about it here before. I agree that many people do overspend but not everyone is this way. Like skew I have 1 and it has 0 balance. It gets paid off every month.

Oh and btw I can steal your visa check card, use it like a credit card and wipe out all the money in your bank account. But if I steal your credit card and use it you'll still have your money in the bank. :thumbsup:
