I think I was visited by aliens last night!

They left a crop circle in my yard!!!

Seriously though, it's a ring of mushrooms. Anybody know what causes them to form in a large circle like this?

Before anyone suggest it... No, I'm not going to eat one! :)

Regarding the mushrooms, did you perhaps mow in a pattern that would cause the spoors to shoot out and match that pattern?

No, the septic lines are on the opposite side of the house.

Not that I know of. If you look just to the top of the circle you can see my mow lines from yesterday. It's a straight shot.

Interesting that they formed in a circle...I've got them coming up in my yard right now also but not in a pattern...I see it as 1 more sign that Saturday it is over for us all.

However if tomorrow you wake up and see it "P" next to the "O" I am fairly certain that is a sign that Oprah is taking over the world, and the mushrooms are trying to warn us, and your yard may be Oprah's wormhole.....which is rather disgusting.
