I am still a fan of Wayne but even I was iffy on some of lastest material, especially the YMCMB stuff with Khaled.

I'll be interested to see how much Tha Carter IV gets away from that. I know he has experimented with other genres before (see: Prom Queen) but that wasn't everything most people thought it would be.

most of that stuff came out when he was in prison. pretty much everything in between Carter III to Carter IV, I would take with a grain of salt.

No Ceilings was badass... although it was all rap. but it had it's moments.

if he can't bring any hip-hop to the CD then he's lost his value in my eyes. anyone can put together random lyrics that sound clever. everyone is doing it. he may have started it, he may EVEN be considered best at it, he may be respected in the streets.. whatever. if he isn't speaking the hip-hop language, he isn't contributing poo to reviving it (as he claims in Carter III)...

I'm tired of hearing random ass lyrics that don't mean poo.
