New 2012 NFL Mock Draft

Just because Barkley is good, doesnt mean they'll settle for him. If you think a guy can be as amazing as they say, but have doubts about a second, you wont settle. I'm not saying the pick directly after ours would make a trade; but its all certainly a possibility. I don't think us having Cam this year hurts us in any way for a trade is what I'm saying.

If there was no football, and that would suck so much yes, but if there was none, I'd love trading the number one for a king's ransom and getting Matt Kalil. I love Alshon Jeffery too. But Matt Kalil would be so great for us.

in my book Matt Kalil isnt as much a need as Jeffery is. Smith is likely gone and people are way too high on LaFell and Gettis. Both havent proven to be number one recievers and honestly, i dont see them being that which is why i think if Smith goes he has to be replaced

i think having Cam kinda hurts us, as for Barkley, i am sure many teams will like him just as much as they like Luck. Luck could struggle a little bit next year. Barkley has done well on a team with a ton of sanctions and not great coaching. i personally would love to see him in a Redskin uniform, but i see Washington having a 6th pick and having to settle for either Landry Jones (if he comes out) or going into the 2nd round and getting Terrelle Pryor.

Wouldn't it be perfect for the panthers to pick first next year? I mean can you Imagine the Kings Ransom that a team will give up for the #1 pick? At the same time it would be embarrassing to pick #1 again...so I'm kinda torn with the subject to be honest.

Absolutely, next years #1 pick is going to be worth so much. There's a sure fire franchise QB and most likely a rookie scale so you get your franchise QB for cheap. And if you don't need a QB there will be many other teams willing to trade up for the first overall (as opposed to past drafts) so you will get a king's ransom.

With a rookie scale, I think it's going to make the early part of the draft much more interesting since those picks will actually become trade-able now.
