People still buy American cars?

Dont plan on buying anything but... But isnt Dodge owned by Fiat now? Guess I'll have to buy Italian...

I like the looks of the Explorer best, followed by the Durango... at least the Jeep is still a fairly legit off road vehicle, but neither of the other two really are, not that they ever really claimed to be. All of them are over-priced gas hogs imo.

I'll keep my '95 Grand Cherokee and be happy.

Would never own a GM or Chrysler vehicle. Ford has changed my mind a bit on some of the models, they look good and seem to be built well. F150's are solid.

Still can't beat Toyota and Nissan's engines.

There is no American made car now, that always cracks me up. Actually a good deal of Toyota/Nissan/Hondas are made in the USA, where I think Ford/GM make a lot of cars in Mexico and Canada....

So while they may not be American companies, Americans are putting them together, that counts more in my book.

I have bought 2 Explorers in my day, and both were great.

Gave the first one to my little sister, and the last one to my mom. The 96 has over 250K miles, and the 99 has almost 200K.

If I were buying one of these, it would have to be Ford.

I don't like any of them. I'd drive the Durango if I had to. Jeep's redesign is he worst. I miss their old designs, the ones that were actually capable of offroading with stock poo.

The Durango looks like a rip off of the Lincoln Navigator. Kinda like how the Chrysler 300 is the poor man's Bentley. The Explorer looks like a 4 door minivan, and the Jeep... Well the Jeep looks like a Jeep. And I love it.

They may be assembled in the USA, but they are designed by the Japanese.
