When is the last time a superstar....

Maybe he just wants to be lined up with a team that has very deep pockets, such as the Cowboys. With the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Salary Cap coming to a close, it makes sense to go to a team that has proven it will pay anything for a big name star.

It's a move that could mean millions and millions of dollars to him in the near future.

Of course, I still say let him go, with compensation. No use keeping someone around who doesn't want to be here. Thanks for the good times, good luck. The fans will still be cheering for the Panthers long after you've retired.

I don't think he knows what he whats. But his agent wants 10% of it.

Absolutely. HE doesn't know what he wants, only that he wants it. I'm not sure whatever it is even EXISTS in the NFL. But you can bet his agent has convinced him that it is his for the taking, whatever the hell it is! All the other posts about the press are spot on, too. Pep has NEVER had to deal with a hostile, persistent press corps, which he WILL face anywhere else.

The proof of his ignorance is the 4 team crap. If he wants to leave so bad, why make it impossible for the team to trade him? We all know the Cats are not not going to let him walk scott-free. Apparently, though, HE doesn't see that, or he has been convinced it won't happen to him. Dumb Dumb Dumb :svengo:

Sounds to me the agent/friend has been filling Peppers ear with a lot of BS.

Peppers may not have a lot of friends, but he trusts the ones he does have ~ which could be a costly mistake with this one.

Honestly, Peppers could be any player he wants to be. Key word, want.

Sounds to me he just wants things handed to him, as if it's owed to him.
