Vick's only got a few more years left before his outstanding physical skills start turning pedestrian. I'll take young Cam over Vick when rebuilding a team, especially when 2 years ago, Vick was just as big an unknown and risk as Cam is now.

Yeah, Vick isn't getting any younger. I'd rather have Cam for the next 10+ years (assuming he works out) than Vick for the next 3-5.

I wanted Vick too, but we currently have a younger, bigger, stronger version so I feel like we came out better without him.

As an added plus Cam and all the other young players should have learned not to starve and fit pitbulls. So now the Panthers just need to keep him knee deep in pussy so he doesn't have to visit Charlotte's fine *** bars.

The Vick situation may have played a part in it, but I think Rivera has convinced JR that he can handle bad boys.

Vick was out of the league for 2 years. He could still be good for a pretty long time. He almost never gets blasted and I don't think he's ever had a big injury.

He got beat to hell at the end of his Atlanta career.....and after about 6-7 games in a new scheme/team/coach.....opponents figured out how to pound on him again last year.
