the only place i've been shot where it really hurt was on my toes...i was wearing some really old sneakers and they did not offer much protection...it hurt like a motha

heat of summer...I'd wear an underarmor shirt to wick the moisture and a long sleeve cotton (to breath) camo shirt. BDU pants work fine.

Or just two cotton tshirts...one short sleeve underneath and one long sleeve over.

Don't wear polyester in the summer...you sweat to death.

The field closest to me with usually break 100 in summer. I would just wear a shirt and shorts. You get used to the pain, after awhile they don't even really hurt.

And then you get hit in the Adam's apple and you rethink all of that.

As mentioned, long sleeve T and some light sweat pants and you'll be good. Pain isnt really that bad, especially when the adrenalin gets pumping. The throat was the most brutal spot I've been hit but thats rare and bearable.

Truth, but it really depends on your course. The one I was talking about, at the time, was mostly all woodsball. If I'm playing woodsball, I just don't care what I'm wearing except for my boots, I don't plan to getting too hardcore. I was getting over paintball about the same time speedball became the big thing. For speedball, nothing beats riding pants (which some companies later remarketed as paintball pants) that are a size too big and a baggy long sleeve shirt. Gloves and a bandana/sweatband/hat/etc. for your head are optional, but nice to have.

Quit using paintball guns and use REAL pistols like REAL men do. Just use a bullet proof vest and only shoot towards the abdomen.

we used to use pellet guns when I was a kid....stung like a bitch when you got hit!
