They'll say the kids like this, and while they may like it at this moment, cause they don't know better, eventually they'll be really upset and have issues because they never had a proper childhood (see Michael Jackson, sort of). They'll be older, maybe grow out of their 'prettiness" and want to have their childhood but they are too old at that point.

Out of my 4 daughters, none have ever done any pageants. The closest we came is my 2nd Daughter-San who did a couple of commercials when she was a teenager.
