I can't tell what poisoned this board more, the constant suckage we had on the field last fall or the emergence of attention whores like TRD. Regardless this was such a better board coming off a 12-4 season, when most of the attention whoring came from Fiz and at least he was offensive.

He's missed me, I've been so busy at work I decided to just stop by and actually help get this thread into something more than Matt Moore blowup doll jokes. I like the effort some of his other combatants bring to the table but at the end of the day it's all about going through the process, and some of these guys just don't fit the system.

I thought that was one of the main reasons we weren't bringing Moore back, so we can sign a vet and give Newton some real competition.

You really need to work on your sentence structure if you want your jokes to be funny.

What else is there on here? Hell, it's all turned into degenerate garbage. The Lounge is all that's worth a damn now. But hey, you can rest at night knowing you contributed to the downfall, big guy! ;)

I didn't contribute to the downfall. The downfall happened and now I'm making the best out of it.

It fails on so many levels.

First off, it was composed out of the angst you feel because we drafted Cam and you're scared we'll actually be better with him. You didn't want Cam and now you're crying about it. So there's that.

Second, I don't know who "hates" Matt Moore here... I'm sure there are some people, but that's just straight up retarded. Moore has been the consummate professional. And I think he's an excellent football player/quarterback... That doesn't mean he's the best on our roster now... And for all Panther fans, regardless of whether you like Moore or not, we have to be pulling for Cam and hoping that he becomes the franchise QB that the FO believes he can be. There's a lot invested in him and he could turn around the entire franchise. Regardless, I want Moore to stay here either as the setup man to start a few games before Cam starts, or as the backup/mentor for him. But, if he feels he can start elsewhere, he probably will leave, as I don't think he's ready to give up on his ability to be a starting QB, and I don't blame him.

I still don't understand why we put Clausen in again last year after we saw what he did initially... MM should've been starting the whole season. But, that's all in the past, and we probably wouldn't have gotten Cam if MM would've started, so I'm cool with it in hindsight I guess.

And lastly, you think possible destinations for MM include DENVER??? LULZ!!! For such a MM homer, you are terribly out of touch with his situation... He was just on "The Drive" or whatever it's called, yesterday afternoon, and was asked directly if he was ever given a fair chance to start here. He laughed and handled it like the professional he is... He said he would leave that up to those guys to discuss and debate that, but the NFL is about making the most of the few opportunities you are given, and he felt like he did several times, while others he didn't do too well, but feels he showed enough, or something like that... I agree with his assessment. When pressed on it again, he said "Was I given a fair shot? I don't know... I don't know if it was ever fair..."

Also, there was the whole thing about the reason why he didn't get a shot sooner during Jake's struggles is because he wasn't one of Fox's guys and Foxy didn't think he was a "football player" or leader. You don't have to go by that rumor, just look at how it panned out and how they reluctantly gave him the job after Jake finally got injured and then we drafted that troll-looking mf'er to take the job back, despite his sucktitude. So, I SERIOUSLY DOUBT Matt is going to Denver, lol...

I think he has starter ability and could be the full-time starter for several teams in the league when given a fair shot. But, what sense would it make for us to have drafted Cam so he can sit behind Matt for the next 3-5 years. It wouldn't, and a lot of people would be fired. I like Matt Moore and I'll always pull for him, whether he'll be here or elsewhere (and although I'd like him to be here, I believe he can succeed somewhere and part of me wants to see that happen because he deserves it), but you've just got to deal with reality now.

It's not hate, it's the way things are... This is Cam's team now, it has to be.
