I certainly hope they start using Connor. He is definitely more of a run-stopping MLB, but I'd love to see how he does replacing Diggs. I've never been a fan of Diggs.

I hope to see Connor do well during drills and practice in the offseason. Everyone agrees he was a steal in the draft.

Connor will see the field pretty soon, I doubt Diggs will be bad, but he will get older. He could see a limited special teams role soon, but I think he is a team guy and would do it.

What's funny is that Diggs won the starting job in camp last year - Landon Johnson was brought in to be his replacement and most people assumed it would be a no-contest.

At a certain point Diggs is gonna lose a step or two, and we'll need to get Connor out there. Now that the guy is healed up, I wouldn't be suprised if he beat out Diggs in camp for the start.

The one big weakness for Conner is his coverage skills. I think that would limit him in starting at SLB. Of course Beason is not going to lose his spot. For Conner, playing WLB makes the most since but with how great Davis played this year at WLB I doubt you see him move back to SLB. IMO Conner, Beason and Davis are our best three talents at LBer and I think that by 2010 you will see all three starting. As for this year I think Diggs will remain the starter and should as he has proven to be worthy of it. It's just in the long run I think you have to get the your young talent on the field and for that to happen the elder Diggs will have to take a back seat.

Coverage can be coached. He was really raw at it as you said and his blitzing was not top notch ether. IMO learning is the best thing for him right now but his best skill is his instincts and that you cant coach.

No 6-3 isn't tiny. Especially going into the league at LB. His frame should allow him to gain weight if that's what the team wants him to do.

Yeah, at 6'3" he should be able to carry at least 15-20 more lbs without sacrificing any speed or agility.
