Smart or Intelligent. IMO there is a difference..

I agree. To me the ability to memorize is the least impressive thing your mind can do. Can you spout off trivia about endless things? Yawn.

Now, can you conceptualize or create? That gets my attention.

Smart people figure out how to make the best of life wheather it means making money, living in certain areas, or being healthy.

Intelligent people can read code, remember certain things that don't mean anything, are good at Cross Word puzzles.

Big difference.

Under that definition then my dad no doubt. Runs a business, can do/ fix anything. He's built multiple houses not just managing but including physically doing a lot of the work, landscapes beautifully, plumbing, hvac, electrical work and cars. His house in the mtns. is all wood and he did it all with a helper. It's beautiful.

Needless to say he works all the time doing something.

That's what's so cool about my friend John... he can conceptualize things that other people can't and he can also take things that other people conceptualize and make them reality. He's very good at coming up with unique solutions that no one else thought of.
