Cam Wants To Be "Nightmare"

I read a story yesterday that had that quote in it. Cam said he wanted to be a nightmare for opposing coaches. Either way, if he can translate his bravado onto the field, he is going to be special.

I got to see Barry Sanders for 7 years. Cam has a chance to amaze for even longer, and at a position that touches the ball on every play.

Just my thoughts, and GOOOO CATS!!!!!!

When one of my coworkers recently mocked the Newton pick, I justified it with things like this that he has said. Even if he ends up a bust, I don't think it will be for lack of trying.

I didn't like this pick of draft day, but now I'm ok with it. I like Cam as a person and with his motivation he is bound to become at least mediocre. At the worst we're in at an early-Vick or Vince Young like career in his first contract, but Cam has the potential to be dominant. I hope he gets what he wants and becomes the best ever as a Panther. I'll be hating on all the bandwagon fans that jumped on the bandwagon when JR built us a dynasty to serve as his legacy.

The people who compare Cam to Jawalrus are just ignorant.

No more than those who are comparing Cam to HOF QB's.

Remember, Cam has yet to even take a snap in the NFL.

He realistically could be one of the biggest busts in NFL history....or could be a phenomenal QB. Until he actually plays, he is nothing more than a new rookie trying to start his career.

I like his drive and like what I hear about his work ethic.....but neither "guarantee" success. Only time will tell.

Comparing Cam (a rookie who has yet to take an NFL snap) to Barry Sanders (one of the NFL's greatest RB's) is beyond hilarious. It is quite pathetic.

I see that our division rivals fans think Cam will suck.

It will be funny when he's making their DC's lose sleep for the next 10 years.

Exactly!!!!

They are so nervous that they are praying that he won't be good. I truly believe he is going to really open things up for our offense. Running and Passing game. If Chudz is half the OC we hope he is. They will design plays to make teams respect the running game as well as passing game.

No longer will teams be able to double and triple cover Smitty. One they will have to have a spy for Newton or they will open up huge lanes for him to tuck and run.

I was reading all the hate coming off the Blog.
