also don't forget Moose has only been in trouble once, when he was found with weed and a gun in his car. No one even remembers that.

Smith almost killed two team mates and got busted for pills.

Take them both in their prime and look at them. Who are you going to take?

Smith is much faster, more explosive, more elusive, and just as clutch as Moose ever was.

Smith could do what Moose could do. But it couldn't work the other way around.

Moose was great but Smith makes you say "Oh my god".

Love them both.

Moose was my favorite Panther when I started liking them a lot.

After he left, Smitty became my favorite.

When Moose came back I was ecstatic. I love em both.

Gotta go Smitty though. He'd of been considered one of the greatest of all time had he been with a great QB throughout his entire career. He's one of the most talented football players I've ever seen, period.

He easily could have killed Anthony Bright.

Ken Lucas was only saved by all his previous rhinoplasty which is what smith was aiming for.

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
