Worst or Best Chain restaurants

nah, I think americans have an over-romanticized view of what italian food should be, though.

Maggianos is good Italian and I'm pretty sure they are a chain.

I think the majority is with me in that TGIF, Chilis and Applebees are considered to be the worst.

Italian is where I draw the line on chains. there are so many good local Italian resturants. Like run by italians.

Here is a new one in Davidson. The food is just perfect and the owners are to notch. Prices are not bad until you get to the meat entrees. Just couldn't imagine passing this up for a chain.

to me, applebees <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< TGI and Chili's:

-always smells bad inside the restaurant... how does this even happen?

-food seems like its been warmed over three times

-always seem understaffed

Been unlucky enough to be forced to go to an applebees twice in the last three years... in two different cities... and they both had these problems.
