Worst or Best Chain restaurants

My dad likes Applebees and it pisses me off. The other day we got in the car and he decided to switch it up so we went to chili's...I havent stopped shitting since.

Sonny's is decent chain food. I mean it's endless ribs.

Red Lobster and Olive Garden are both good chains. Olive Garden is always a wait at dinner though, and I never attempt to eat there. Red Lobsters seem to be few and far between now. I think the closest to me is at the Tanger outlet in myrtle.

edit: I should say OG is decent. Its still all pre-packaged and microwaved from what I hear. I've never had bad service at one though.

Costco has great hot dogs.

My office goes to Costco once a month and buys $100 worth of snacks and stuff for the break room (benefits of having a boss who is obsessed with food)

We always eat lunch every time we go. I got a hot dog once and felt sick for the rest of the day...won't ever do that again. Must have been the meat they use? Idk. I freakin love hot dogs but that was just not right.

They have good pizza (greasy as fug tho) and the chicken caesar salad is on point.

I would consider Firebird's a chain. I freaking love that place. Never had been there until we went for my sister's 21st last year.....their salads are where its at. They also have an awesome drink menu and great service. Not to mention a couple of my friends work there so sometimes I get the hookup.

Liked it so much we went back for my birthday. Now I wanna go again.

There bread is to die for. Drinks are good and their steak salad is so good.

Is that the place over at 7th and Pecan? I haven't been there but I have heard its really good. Will definitely have to check it out. Gracias.

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I have never once in my life eaten at a Red Lobster. My parents never took us there and I have just never thought to go. I do rove robster though. Ive heard they have awesome cheese biscuits too.

I've only been to Olive Garden maybe 3 times.

Olive Garden = microwaved food

Crazy people stand in droves outside the OG in Spartanburg, when there's a terrific REAL Italian place in the shopping center across the street ... oh, well, keeps the crowds down in my favorite Italian restaurant.

Unlimited salad and bread sticks make OG decent. I don't eat chain Italian. I live in the mecca of southernized yankees. There are plenty of other choices.

The worst chain imo is Golden Corral. Most of my hate for it is that I overeat everytime which leads to :puke:

Nota Bene: This is a spectrum of worst to best, not headers.

Worst

Jasper's

Green Turtle

Olive Garden

Cracker Barrel

IHOP (I only eat there when I'm drunk)

Red Lobster (How are the mashed potatos still frozen in the center when you serve it? But also, I knock them for discontinuing my all time favorite dessert: the "Sensational Seven")

Bailey's

Applebee's

Chili's

Macaroni Grill

Bob Evans

Red Robin

Ruby Tuesdays (Would be higher, but we have 2 around here; the one at the mall is consistently amazing, and the standalone restaurant near me is awful so overall, it's average)

Outback

Carabba's

Long Horn

Red Rock Canyon

Bubba Gump

McCormick and Schmick's

Bonefish Grill

Carmine's

Ruth's Chris

Best

And let me conclude by saying this, you mugs WISH you had a Dogfish Head Alehouse.

Chili's is horrible, especially since they changed their already crappy menu and made it worse.

My fave would be Japanese steakhouses (kabuto, nakato) or Outback (they have an amazing pork tenderloin dish)

Quiznos is pretty awesome too, but my fave sub chain is Steak N Hoagie
