Riveria seems sold on Cam

I was neither a hater or lover but listening to Rivera speak on total access he really sounds sold on the decision and met with him 5 times before the draft siting his athletic ability, decision making and leadership.

I cannot say that I have ever seen such great expectations for a player. As this cba lingers on even all the cam nuthuggers have to start wondering at some point how effective can he be w/o backing up a vet.

This lockout is going to cost cam some nice rookie #'s I can assure you that. No minicamps, really hurts a team installing new parts and plays like us rather than a New Orleans or New England, etc.

I expect the talent bridge to really show next season because of all this bullpoo going on with the league--if there is a season.

Listening to Rivera last night on total access it appears they are tooling the plays around his skill set. My guess is that alot will depend on when the CBA is in place and Cam signed but it sounded as though thier intentions are to play him as ASAP.

One thing that I have not heard mentioned is how long do you think it will take to sign him to a contract after the CBA is resolvd?

Probably not long. If a new CBA includes rookie slotting, the deal will be set by the CBA, and I heard we already had preliminary discussions with his agents where we were willing to pay Sam Bradford money.
