I started playing my first MMORPG and wow are people really into this poo. For shits and giggles I joined a guild and today we went into a dungeon. We all died twice and this one girl went BALLISTIC. I couldn't believe it. I mean I had heard about this poo before but never encountered it. She was cussing everybody out. Apparently someone was supposed to be DPS'ing and they were tanking. Which must be some sort of mortal sin to these people. BTW I had no idea what those things meant until today.

It was hilarious. This girl had to log off she was so upset. Of course I was LOL'ing at her and that didn't help matters, I'm sure.

Generally I've been soloing it until I joined this guild but I don't think I can take this poo as seriously as these people. Guess I'll have to go solo and group up with randoms again.

Luckily they've cracked down on ninjas. Actually gear isn't as big of a thing as it was when that video came out (like 5 years ago). WoW is like 10 times more casual now luckily.

True.

But instead of ninjas taking loot, you have random asshats talking poo in groups and rolling on loot they can't use. About 20% of the run of the mill WoW player is an intolerable child who is socially inept and gets their kicks out of ruining it for others.

Fortunately, I only run dungeons with a group of friends and our wives. We're having to bring a couple of the ladies up from level 1 from November 2010. We don't have a lot of time on our hands, but we're into the mid/late-70s content now. In about a couple weeks to a month, we'll be in the first stage of Cata dungeons.

Aside from that, we're running Arenas/BGs too... I've got a toon in mostly Vicious Glad gear, and what isn't purple is Bloodthirsty Glad gear. We're starting to get our rank up too.

Moral of the story: The best way to experience MMOs is to run with people you know and trust.

Well, plate can't roll on cloth, cloth on plate, etc. But different specs can roll on others gear, which is annoying.

And don't forget the occasional Bind on Equip items that everyone wants to sell, even if its an upgrade for you.

They are in the process of making BoE's bop, which seems kind of odd, but they've talked about it. But yeah.

lol. I only know what DPS and Tanks are from League of Legends. Even on that, people go apeshit if you're doing something fun. These guys usually take things too seriously and virtually take the fun out of the game.

I worked with a girl one time years ago that was an absolute knockout. I mean this woman was a 10+ easy. We went to lunch a few times and had a couple of casual dinners together after work but it never turned into anything because even though she had a young son, she turned really Christian and was not gonna have sex until she was married again, which was an obvious dealbreaker for me. Anyhow, this chick was so obsessed with Warcraft that she would bring her laptop in and play on our company wireless network. She would literally have her laptop open next to her work monitor, and play that poo all day. It was simultaneously the weirdest, and downright sexiest thing I've ever seen in my life.
