He was found innocent of criminal charges.

I think Beason has a counter suit against this dude as well.

I bet Beason is found guilty in this one. We all know he punched that d-bag and the d-bag deserved it.

I doubt it. All they have to prove was he instigated Beason punching him and its all over. TBH if left to the jury it could go either way.

proving Frye verbally said something to Beason......doesn't mean he gets off. In civil court Beason pays

I'm having a hard time figuring out how Frye is going to prove Beason punched him?

They dismissed the civil trial because they could find no evidence the Beason punched him, not one eyewitness, etc... I realize the burden of proof is much lower in a civil trial but if not one person says they saw Beason punch him then how does Frye win the lawsuit?

A jury will determine and they can use circumstantial evidence. In civil the burden is much lower and I doubt that this case ever gets to the jury. Beason will settle and make this go away unless the plaintiff is a real jerk and his attorney feels like the jury will be sympathetic to Beason. Risky move so most likely it will settle before a jury decision is made. For those that are curious, less than 3% of civil cases ever get a verdict because you can settle during the trial as well.

If you got selected for jury duty for this, would you lie to stay on the jury?

Are you a Carolina Panther's fan?....Do you know who Jon Beason is?...

Depends. I'd say that yes I would to help support the Beast, but I'm afraid if I got caught I'd be thrown in jail for perjury. Which would be way worse than the likely slap on the wrist Jon is gonna get.
