well so does church. bet yet a lot of people seem to still go to church. nothing wrong with going to the strip club, but you cannot control what others will do. you just hope you make it home safely, but that same altercation could have happened by going to the store.

where is Greg Frye more likely to get drunk during the weekend and look for a fight?

Uptown Cabaret or Harris Teeter?

There is proof that Beason did something otherwise there would not be a trial. The guy got his face smashed in so someone obviously hit him. If it wasn't Beason, then he will be guilty by association until he proves his innocence. Frivolous claims don't get to trial often.

Not true.

There was no proof that Beason did anything....therefore no criminal trial.

You can sue someone for any bullpoo reason you want and take it to civil court.

Our civil court system is littered with more frivalous claims than legitimate claims.

You have absolutely no grasp of our legal system.

So what is his mistake? Going to a strip club or confronting a person who is spreading rumors about him? Like I said the strip club was irrelevant, Frye had some kind of agenda and this would have happened whether they were at the mall or a strip club.

generally at a strip mall during the day, people aren't intoxicated and high......and using poor judgement and looking to cause trouble. The strip club is relevant.

Apparently you never frequented the old Eastland Mall on a Saturday afternoon.:D

Tom Brady ain't gonna go into a strip club at 2 in the morning in Boston. He isn't gonna stay out b/c of his wife or b/c he is an a gay......Tom Brady knows he is too high profile of a guy to put himself in that situation. Too big of a target considering the type people in a strip club at that time.

Jon Beason is no where close to being as high profile as Tom Brady so it is not really fair to compare the two. My wife and I were in the elevator on Saturday night with J-Stew and Kenny Moore and my wife had no idea who they were even though was attend every Panther's game together so I am sure she would not know what Beason looks like either, but I am sure she could pick out Tom Brady from a mile away. Also it would be a big deal if Brady was at a strip club instead of home with his wife, and to my knowledge Beas is not married so if he likes to frequent strip clubs being a single guy it is no big deal to me.

I am saying I believe Frye had an agenda and whether he and Beason were at a restaurant, a mall, at the Y, or a strip club something was going to happen and Frye was going to try and start something.

In the Charlotte area, Beason is really as high profile as it gets.

okay, use Brady before he married his chick....same principle applies. If you are high profile you have to avoid certain situations. It is a trade off.

Tom is married and therefore he will not be near a strip club without tmz knowing.

Frye, like plenty of trouble makers, saw a high profile target in a perfect setting for him cause trouble.

There is a reason why high profile athlete find themselves in the newspaper when at clubs late at night and the worst story you hear about a player at a mall during the day......is them being told to pull there pants up.

Time and location has everything to do with it.

My .02

I believe that professional athletes, musicians, actors, actresses, politicians etc..should be held to a higher standard than your average Joe. Millions of kids hold these people in the highest regards and often look to them as models to achieve their own goals. My kids may love, respect, and want to be like their Dad, but they don't hang my poster on their wall.

Maybe Beason hit the guy, maybe not. My concern is that my son or daughter may look at this and believe that violence is a justifiable way to solve situations when, more often than not, its not.

Everyone likes to blow off a little steam, but not everyone has the youth of the nation idolizing them. I believe that should count for something.

Go Panthers!!

I have a juris doctor and a lot of court hours that says otherwise. Real court isn't like TV. In the real world, between discovery and a competent attorney on the other side, 99% of frivolous claims are dismissed before trial. This is why less than 3% of cases nationally ever get decided in court.

but you are telling 20-30 something year old men, some single that they cant enjoy life. aside from the drugs and things you have to expect them to try to live normal lives, because at the end of the day they are humans like me and you.

I am not telling them anything except if you chose to place yourself in situations where trouble can happen, you will get in trouble eventually. I don't care if he goes to a strip club every single day, but don't expect people to feel sorry for you when you lose sponsors and eventually get in trouble.
