Spider Bite?

I've had this swollen spider bite on my leg for about 7 days now, and it is really painful to move my leg at all, sometimes it feels stiff. I really hate going to the ER but should I just wait to go to my Doctor's office Monday?

If it's nonlethal then go to your doctor. ER = major bill. If your insurance covers it go on to the ER.

Spider bites will stay with you a very long time without medical assistance. They will usually get worse over time. I recommend going as soon as you can. If it was deadly poison you would've been very sick within half hour, however don't delay.

I'm not a real Dr. I just play one at home.

Nope, probably happened when I was doing yard work. Cause I woke up with it and initially it didn't hurt. But it's starting to get worse.

The starting to get worse part is alarming! Depending on where you live there are multiple spiders that can cause issues. I take it you are in NC (Greensboro) I added a link for you to check out. Did you notice any tunnels, webs or areas it could have come from?

its probably a brown recluse so u should go to the doctor immediately. or your foot is going to fall off and you'll have to get a peg leg like a pirate.

yea. pretty much anything that has been around 7 days and is still getting worse should send you to the doc.
