Will their ever be a Salary Cap again?

Hey guys one of the things that is keeping me up at night is that a new cba is never established. Now by saying that I do not mean that we will never have NFL football again, I am fairly confident we will see NFL games this fall. My fear is we have a NFL without a CBA and in turn without a Salary cap, and I am not talking about for one year like we had last season or could have in 2011 because as long as the owner show solidarity in not spending a ton of money the game can go on as if their was a salary cap. But as a fan I am scared that we will have football, but without a CBA and salary cap and teams like the boys, skins, and jets will simply buy Lombardis! And smaller market teams like ourselves will be screwed! Perhaps even more importantly the parity driven league that gave us a chance at a Lomardi in 03-4, and has been the best era of NFL football ever will be over. What are your guys thoughts can/will this happen? If so how does it affect the Panthers?

There will be a salary cap. If no CBA is reached, they will probably revert to last year's rules. But when a CBA is agreed on (and it will happen eventually) I'd almost guarantee there will be a salary cap and very little deviation from what we're used to. The sticking point between the two sides is dollar figures, which isn't something that actually affects the game.

Their?

Yes, there will be a cap.

The spelling Nazi thing is getting real old. Just because you spell well does not mean everyone does and this is not a grammar board.

Ok back to the OP. Well there is 3 routes that I see this going.

1. The owners get what they want and the Cap will be back in place.

2. The players get what they want and there never will be a Cap again. Maybe not even a draft.

3. The players get what they want and there will be a Cap and the draft.

The 3rd does not seem likely because the Union makes it money on how much the players get in there contracts.

Don't care, reading crap is getting real old too.

Better than your WE WANT TAKE A QB IN DRAFT crap. Really when was the last time you were right about anything panthers related? Look down, that white horse you have been riding is brown and smells funny. :beatdeadhorse5:
