Denver: Could Trade Kyle Orton

Cecil Lammey, NFL Insider for Front Range Sports Network and senior writer for Footballguys.com, reports the Denver Broncos likely will look to trade QB Kyle Orton once the lockout is over and roster transactions are allowed.

The Cardinals could have interest in Kyle Orton as a 'Plan B' in case they don't get Kevin Kolb from the Eagles. There are some who believe Minnesota could also be interested in Orton. They drafted Christian Ponder in the first-round of the 2011 NFL Draft, but could desire a veteran to help mentor their future franchise quarterback.

Could be a good move if Newton could learn under him.

I really like Orton, but from hearing Hurney and Rivera. It sounds more like they are wanting a mentor veteran than a starting veteran.

I think someone like Bulger fits the bill a little better
