Man Purse or ?

So I have a real need for a bag to carry some things in.. laptop, cables, folders, etc.

I have been pondering what I could use that would not make me look like I was carrying a man purse. Then, as I was watching netflix and the 5th season of 24... the Jack Bauer messenger bag of death.

Found a pretty close replica for only 20 bucks with good reviews on durability. Got it in the olive color that Jack used because, well, I am just as badass as him.

So my question for you is, will this minimize the man purse feel?
