The funny thing is.. unless I'm mistaken, Swag is actually an old rock'n'roll term for the freebie crap you accumulate on tour. Coffee mugs from radio stations you're interviewed on, t-shirts of bands you tour with, etc.

I can't be positive... but I'm pretty sure swag is short for swagger, not free stuff from your rock 'n' roll tour.
