Look I want Smith to stay as much as the next guy, but if he leaves, I would LOVE to see him play for the Chargers. Outside of the NFC, an elite top 5 quarterback. I think if he went there we would see triple crown Smitty reemerge.

It's sickening to think about the Panthers without him, but do we honestly WANT a receiver that doesn't want to play here around Cam?

I'd rather him be a Charger than stay here. I am a huge Steve fan, and I want him to go somewhere where he can be very successful. He has a better chance at ending up as a HOFer in San Diego.

Sticking with us?? He's got no chance. He's getting down to his last few years, and if he wants HOF, he need to ball it up for the next few seasons. The Chargers could get him a ring too.

Call me a hater, but I don't want to see Triple Crown Smitty, or Super Bowl Smitty on another team. I love Smitty, but I love Smitty as a Panther. Lets be honest if Smitty was on another team all these years he wouldn't be "Passionate Smitty the Hero" we'd all look at him like "That ass hole punt returner for [insert team here] that punches people in the face." Smitty has every right to do what he feels is best for him family and career and I love him to death but my cheering for him will stop when he stops wearing teal and black.
