We have them here and some of the events are crazy.

I don't know about any highland games, but I've been meaning to get to a few Raleigh Rugby games... I think it's started back up.. if not, soon, IIRC.

They usually play 7's in the summer. Their league should either be over or winding down.

I went to Loch Norman last year, but that's all I've done. I planned on going this year but I had back surgery and a cousin's wedding that got on the way. I hope to make it to Grandfather Mtn, but we'll see; walking is still a bit of a challenge.

you're right, looked it up, this is the last month. That falls in line with when my cousin usually makes trek down this way for the Wilmington tournaments..

This Highland Games was a blast! As most of them are, like the ren-fest, but cooler.

We'll be playing the Clover SC games on June 11 for anyone interested...
