I graduated from State and so did most of my friends, plus I live in Raleigh.

I also know a bunch of people who went to UNC who are from Wilmington, I shared an apartment with a student from UNC for 2 years, AND my girlfriend is in graduate school there. I have total respect for their passion for UNC.

Guess what? My girlfriend got her undergrad at NC State and agrees with my opinion of of UNC fans. Suck on that son.

It doesn't bother me that you can search google and find a bunch of pictures and post them. You likely live in some tiny ass town in NC and have never even seen Chapel Hill, plus your fandom for UNC is based on some irrelevant obscure connection as with most UNC fans. That's probably why you took offense to my post and felt the need to post all those pictures.

Fact of the matter is, I live in Raleigh, I visit Chapel Hill and Durham often, I have friends in all three towns and I went to NC State and have friends at all three schools, Duke UNC NCSU.

I'm not sure what UNC fans you know? But all the UNC fans I know are diehard fans and not bandwagon followers. I was brought up in a UNC fan family so I've been watching them since I can remember. They have always been a top ten team so I can understand hate. What's your favorite team? And don't say duke neither...

I'm generalizing about their fan base from my experience. I know a good number of diehard UNC fans with legitimate connections to the school as you do. However, they are VASTLY outnumbered by bandwagoniers.

What is sad about it? We as ECU fans have to put up with ignorant crap like that ALL the time by people who (90% of the time) did not even go to college. I'm extremely proud of my alma mater and the athletic department. It just really gets under my skin when I see comments like that.
