It still blows my mind how two groups of people can't sit in a room and figure this thing out. Instead they choose to both act like freaking idiots, and basically do nothing about it. :boxing_smiley::incazzato:

Maybe they do not want to solve it ..one side or the other.

To me it looks like players want to be above reproach in their personal lives and have bottomless pits of cash supplied by the owners of the franchise they swing by on Sunday's to pick up a check at.

The owners, to me, are sick to death of the rapid decline in responsibility on the part of some of the higher paid vets when it comes to bringing along replacements and generally miffed about their inherent responsibility to keep paying these guys more and more in spite of what they deliver on the field.

Do not look for a resolution soon and if there happens to be one it will be in spite of the true agenda on each side and a necessary evil fueled by amended greed.

The sport is basically shot as we know it.

player face smilies splattered all over on internet forums who are loaded with largely clueless children pretty much proves that...look around people

Maybe if everyone took a little less piece of the pie then it could trickle down to the fans. I dont know just a thought. I have seen ticket prices sky rocket as the salaries do the same for the players so it makes me feel the go hand in hand. I would love to have some football as well, but I also would rather see more contracts that say P + y = mil$... I also think it is stupid that franchise have to throw the bank at rookies who have not proven themselves, and in the end take money out of the pocket of veterans that have been able to make it in the league.

Zod I feel ya though man. I would love to see something going on with this crazy mess. Strikes/lockouts/moody players killed baseball. I just hope football will survive it. It took baseball years and some steroided freaks hitting home runs to get baseball back on track.

For me, the most disappointing part is that the issue is now in the courts. If FA, minicamps, etc. were delayed, but they were still negotiating, we could be more optimistic.

Negotiations broke down when they were only $300 to $400 million apart. Had negotiations continued, I believe we would already have a deal.

Now that it is in the courts, this thing could go on for a long, long time.

Edit: Hey look! I've got swag! Where did that come from?

Let's hope they don't grant the stay...

Lets hope both sides agree to terms before they can. TBH I really feel the only pay your going to get D.Smith to the table is a stay though. He seems to want to battle this threw court.

Exactly I was watching that 2010 version of Hey Rookie on NFLN show Bradford, Suh, and CJ Spiller leading up from draft night to ota's etc. And it just pissed me off how this crazy offseason is f**king up the rookie experience for these prospects and fans :nonod:

Eventually I hope our team all gets together like Brees has done with the Saints this week.

THe only deadline that seems to matter is the start of the season. When the owners and the players start watching money slide down the drain.

It does not seem D.Smith and the players are all too much worried about money TBH.
