However I am not happy about the pick. Something tells me that a QB that threw less than 300 total D1 passes will not work out for a long time, if ever, in the NFL.

You should be happy we finally have a legit QB here in Carolina. He had one of the best college seasons ever, won almost every award, is a winner through and through.

if you wanted a legit quarterback, you would have drafted mallett...two phenomenal back-to-back years in the most competitive college football division.

I don't think Smith was that bad for the last couple of years. He wasn't great but he wasn't bad.
