Does Kealoha Pilares beat out Armanti Edwards?

Is it just me, or does it seem like Fiz has sand in his vagina all of the time. Like it's an eternal struggle to clean it out, but the shores of Fiz's vagina just keeps dumping sand into it. Your Jesus complex has gotten worse over the years. Take it easy buddy.

Don't be surprised is Charly Martin wins a spot. He is that Ricky Proehl type of player. Had he not gotten hurt in the preseason we would have never picked up Clowney or Martin.

Neither one of those guys did JACK for us. He is my darkhorse.

Charly has a lot of potential. I wish he would take it to the next level. Part of the reason he never saw the field too, besides injury, is Foxy. You know how he is.. Preference with veterans.

I fail to see C Martin as anything but pedestrian at best, however, I do want to see a white WR flourish again in Carolina. haha. AE has great potential, if he can grasp the physicality of the game. Pilares, I'm very stoked on. Not just because he's short and smitty sized, or whatever Fiz condenscendenly referred to, but because his RB skills and YAC potential as a 3rd/4th WR. Some analyst said of the pick: this is the kind of pick the Colts or Patriots make in the 5th round. As much as I hate analysts, I think that particular one might just be right.

I see them both playing. Pilares is going to remind people of Steve Smith. I am sure some will argue that such a comment is crazy, but if I said that Steve Smith the Utah Senior would become Steve Smith they would say the same thing. Pilares is not as gifted, but in the right system, he could be good. This system could be the right system.

Look for 5 active WRs to see the field on offense. 2 slots, a #1, and a #2. Neither will start, but both will play. Look for Pilares and Edwards to play slot, Gettis, Lafell, and possibly a veteran to play outside.

That's why I like Pilares over Armanti. His experience at the RB position. I'm still hopeful of Martin. Clowney As well.

Chud never had 5 WRs record catches in either of his 2 seasons as OC. Nor do I think he even had 4 different WRs catch a pass in a season.

In 2007, Chud's WR with the 3rd most catches....had 3 catches.

In 2008 Chud's WR with the 3rd most catches....had 17 catches

With the new coach, they will both get an equal chance. Frankly, I give Pilares the edge because, at this point, he is easier to write plays for. Combined with fact that he is a converted RB and has a quick 10-yard time, I'm sure Chud has already drawn up a number of interesting plays involving short passes to him.

Edwards has a chance, but last preseason he looked like he was still in need of a lot of work. Let's see how they look in TC.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
