You have to be cut from a regular roster contract and then resigned to a PS contract. So yes, Irvin was cut.

also not cutting AE doesn't mean hurney refuses to admit he fuged up. we don't know if he fuged up.

it's well established that Fox wanted nothing to do with AE and the coaching staff at the time really wasn't prepared to teach a guy how to play a new position. That's why getting "teachers" was such a sticking point throughout the hiring process. it's also a recurring theme from throughout fox's tenure in Carolina.

Looking at that projected depth chart with Hogan iffy, we have to bring back Marshall or atleast sign someone. Every body behind the LB's is suspect. I see alot of deep passes and missed tackles in our future
