I just got madden 11 today. I'm playing my first game Colts vs Pantehrs, I am the Panthers. First play of the game= Marshall intercepts Manning, pick 6. Maybe the game is on easy mode when you buy it?

The only time i play madden is with one of my friends every now and then when i see him that's the only time that game is fun. We usually play a few games but we have to play one game with the precipitation, temperature, and wind to the max so we play in a blizzard or a hurricane.

It's never really as fun as even tossing a football around or watching a real football game. That's what I like best about TV is the clear picture you get of the plays developing. Madden's

I feel ya on that, a friend and I are highly competitive.. he used to kick my ass, royally, every time.. went down to visit him in South FL and whooped that ass for 2 weeks. Neither of us can take a loss, so it wasn't pretty.

but yeah, obviously playing the sport is much more entertaining... :)

When you first get it it has the original rosters from the start of the season. Download the latest roster on xbox live...you will see the overall rating drop tremendously

I thought Madden was unplayable. I miss the good old days of Madden, the Madden 2002-2005 was the Golden Age. It's just a figurehead monopoly bad product now. All indicators say Madden 12 will be better. I'll buy just for cam Newton and the Panthers new look.

This is how I have the entire team rated at the moment, incuding rookies. I went ahead and cut Smith, King, & Marshall since I figure they likely won't be back. Rhys Lloyd as well.

Keep in mind I tend to be a lot more conservative than most with my Madden ratings. I went through the final roster update and lowered a ton of players on every team as I thought they were too high.
