Madden post 2011 draft

Recommended Posts

They have no competition to improve their game - and they realize this. They essentially tweak 1 or 2 things yearly but release the same game every year. I haven't bought the game in 2 years and unless the game just gets great reviews I prb won't buy it this year either.

For me, I all-pro is too easy. I score in the 50's/60's and the cpu rarely ever get anything going on offense; however, on all-madden i have a difficult time passing the ball. My qb is usually inaccurate, wide receivers drop easy catches, or the dbs magically intercept passes that they shouldn't even get a hand on. And on defense the cpu offense breaks too many tackles and my own dbs cant keep up with wide receivers. Right now I'm trying to find a good slider set, but all the ones I've tried are just as easy as all-pro.

Anyone here use custom sliders that they could post that would make it harder than all pro but slightly easier than all madden? Ones that they use when playing franchise mode with the panthers?

I need to work on my directional throwing with the left stick, still cant figure out how it works with all madden settings with a average qb. Throwing it 10 yards away from a receiver or throwing it right to a defender even if the receiver is wide open is something i don't enjoy lol. Tried practice mode, doesn't help very much considering you have to pick the play for both sides and it isn't random for the defense like if you were playing a real game.

you have to work on aiming the ball and anticipating a pass into holes.. work on your timing.

You need to use sliders to find a good competitive balance with the CPU, all-pro is too easy and all-madden is hard because they make you worse, not the opponent better.

The www.operationsports.com forum has a lot of good slider sets. You have to try a few to find ones that work for you since everyone plays a little bit differently.

I've been using some of those sliders on that site. It took me awhile but luckily i found one that works really well. Played the Bengals just now and had 3 td passes with cam newton (created him like some of the others on this board). Even still the sliders pose a challenge and the score was close 31-24, panthers win. Here is hoping when the lockout ends and the panthers get back on the field they can play like that.

There you go. So far these are working for me as the panthers in franchise mode. I get a good challenge. Harder than all pro but slightly easier than all madden. CPU isn't cheap either. Good luck.

if those are still too easy. Try these (ill just post the link). With them i had a hard time running the ball, passing was easy, and on d my dline couldn't get pressure at all.

Just to let everyone using the panthers know .. go ahead and get aquainted with the chargers playbook and multiple D .. so you are comfortable next year when you start playing .. funny play you need to try in multiple D always a sack or tackle for loss .. for mation 1-5-5 DT Blitz xD .. in the chargers playbook D-will and J-stew are almost always on the field at the same time
