It isn't celebrating death it is celebrating justice. Many of us were either directly effected or know someone who was effected by 9/11.

It is hard to celebrate the death of another human being but this is a good day for the USA.

It isn't an eye for an eye, it is more like an eye for a dismemberment. Killing this one man doesn't fix the 3,000+ that Osama killed.... but it does make us feel better.
