To the "yes we Cam" people

Obama nor president Bush killed anyone. Its the man in uniform that does that.

It was still a risky and costly operation. With the failure of past ops missions to secure the hostages in afganistan, I give president Obama all the credit in the world for having the balls to say go in. And his staff to keep this into under raps for so long. No American deaths, this was gutsy call.

And it's the same one Bush would've made, and Clinton before that.

Can we please not make this about politics? It's a great night to be an American. Justice has been served. Those whose lives have been lost to this tyrant, have now been honored and won't die in vein.

Those are some nice things to be excited about.

The executive office is very far away from the actual events. The president is only one man. There are many people who deserve the praise. But make no mistake it happened during his term under his policies so there is a well earned pat on the back. But he's further to the back of the line.

Just as I said I felt sports was a great equalizer so is this moment when you realize how trivial politics can be. Maybe it will help people see the light and realize politics shouldn't contaminate other interests.

Reagan needed to get alzheimer's before he started saying stupid things that made no sense. You manage to do it without any outside help.

As to the original post, people saying "yes we Cam" doesn't bother me, but I do agree the general football discussion will go much better if we stay away from discussion of politics, race, and anything else other than pure football.

If we start this whole 'everyone with a negative opinion of Newton is a racist' tactic now, we're well on our way to being AFMB II. Nobody with more than half a brain wants to see things go that route.

oh wow dude that was harsh

e: i'm pretty sure reagan was pretty good at saying "stupid things that made no sense" long before alzheimer's got him, but i understand if that's difficult to believe. trickle down economics DOES sound pretty alzheimery.

Please stop saying that. Make something else up. I don't want our new franchise QB to be associated with political failure.

Thanks.

:nopity:

Really, has it come to this?

Now we have political correctness on the right too.

Don't say something because it reminds you of an election that the political right lost?

I don't care what you think of the President, that's why I'm on a Carolina Panther football forum. If I wanted political poo slinging I'd have gone somewhere else.

"Yes we Cam" is catchy, rolls off the tongue easily, and I guarantee that we will see more than one fan with that poster in the stands this fall.

So take all the offense you want, I believe that your request will fall on deaf ears.

I actually walked into a room with a bunch of friends and started making Cam catch phrases, just to annoy the patriots fans. At first they mentioned the "Yes we Cam" thing, I cringed, but then embraced it and annoyed them with it.

Now, I'm starting to replace my everyday words with "Cam" or "Newton". I am scheduling an appointment and about to start 15 years of Newton Rehab.
