If you've been busting your ass to get where he is, every single day, and going through all the interviews and going over things about his career getting started, wouldn't you want a vacation? He deserves it. No big deal. Like it has previously been said, there is a lock out right now. If he goes on vacation with his family for a week and enjoys some down time, let him. If he takes the playbook with him, awesome. If not, can't blame him. He'd be on vacation, and you don't take work to your vacation. He can only do so much, and doing something with family now that he has the means is nothing to condemn him for.

If you or he think that the work he put in during this phase is ANYTHING like the level of work that will be required to succeed as a QB in the NFL, you are kidding yourself.

The work is just beginning for Cam...I hope he understands this.

Obviously, but he is just one person. He's put in a ton of work. With the lockout, I have no problems with him taking a week if he wants, as long as he comes right back and busts his ass, and there is no reason to think he won't. He'll put in the work. What comes from that work will remain to be seen.
