So explain devin hester

not every selection will be ideal. Apparently he has a lot of respect from his peers. I don't really care about who is on the list and who isn't. It wasn't a scientific process to come up with the list. I've said over and over again in this topic that it's splitting hairs.

Devin hester is on many players top 20 players lists because as players make their choices they go through the various positions and pick the best player at each postion. So Hester being the best return guy perhaps of all time will make a lot of folks lists when they think special teams. Hester isn't like a lot of guys who return kickoffs and punts and then stop doing it when they become more valuable on defense or offense as a starter and no one wants then to get hurt. Like our own Steve Smith. He has continued to return kicks for years and although his touchdown totals are good but not off the charts, he gets quite a bit of notorority even time he breaks one for a TD. Much like Dante Hall, he could be a game changer and that is important to players.

i think this nails it. The players have a lot of respect for guys that make them look foolish.
