I wanted Jimmy to get on fire so we could trade him for a pick or a player. It's clear at this point that Cam will be the starter from here until he retires. I actually feel bad for Jimmy, He has potential but he won't be starting for the panthers. His situation last year was just FUBAR from the beginning. It's sad because he didn't really get a GOOD shot like Cam is getting.

love looking back and seeing how ignorant/blind people can be. nothing like making unheralded bold predictions that have not actual factual backing on an internet message board. I'm glad you felt he should have been the starter but by not edging out a rookie in tc and his performance last year should have been all the facts you needed.

I'll take a W over stats any day of the week. Who says Jimmy can't put up the same numbers in this offense?

The offense hasn't actually changed all that much and the QB job still requires completing a pass in the face of pressure instead of throwing the ball away 50 times a game. It still requires that you don't fumble the ball.

The job also still requires poise, leadership abilities and confidence and making your team believe in you.

If he only had all of those things, yeah, he might. But then, he'd still be smaller than Cam, minus the rushing abilities.

However, I do hope he eventually develops as an NFL QB. He'll be a completely different kind of QB, and honestly I'd be terrified to see what happens to this offense if Cam ever goes down and anyone tries to step in for him.

Please stop it with your ignorance, it's really depressing. Jimmy didn't have the faith of his teammates and still doesn't. Cam has earned the respect of Smith, Gross, Beason, J-stew, and Dlo, basically the whole team.

Jimmy, never had the confidence Of Fox and now Rivera. Or otherwise he wouldn't be the NO.3 QB.
