There is a difference between getting sacked because the O-line is bad and getting sacked bc you can't get rid of the ball.

Moore was sacked 13 times in 5 starts. It was the offensive line due to injuries and lack of motivation of salvaging a season.

Comparable to our division? The next closest to Jimmy's sack total was Freeman and he was brought down 28 times and started every game this season. Six more starts than Clausen and five less sacks total is not comparable.

Running game was only comprised of Mike Goodson playing his heart out.

We only had one receiver to go over 100 yards in a game and that was against the 49ers when Jimmy didn't get to play a single snap. 49ers were terrible and Jimmy probably would've had comparable stats to Moore that game.

You have to be joking on that comment. Our running aspect of the offense is the heart and soul of this team. In 2009, we were only a few yards better than now in passing but we still had two 1,000 yard rushers. Wasn't the same running game last year because of many different issues which didn't have anything to do with Clausen.

Injuries to our superstar running backs and the offensive line is what really hindered Clausen's development. Running game was, again, non-existent except for Goodson.

Seriously? Our wide receivers scored 6 passing touchdowns. I would agree with your statement IF there was a big gap, but as it is it's about 0.9 TDs per game difference.

No problem would suggest they get in over once a game.

Again, the reason Clausen's horrible mechanics matter and Rivers aren't an issue.....is b/c Clausen can't throw over the line b/c of where it comes out. Rivers has almost a half foot on Clausen and it makes it a non issue.

Rivers has 3 inches on Clausen.

This is a good point. If Clausen could have won 2 or 3 more decent games against bad opponents the front office might have stuck with him. Had no choice really...

If Kasay could kick and if Williams had simply taken it up the middle rather than cutting it back for the home run (and proceeding to fug up), he'd have won two more games.

If he could have thrown a couple of TD's we could have won a couple more too. You still have to carry your weight even if you are on a team. Don't act like Kasey and Williams blew fantastic games by him.

I dedicate this to the Huddle because there aren't many people on here that support Jimmy Clausen. I represent a small group who actually want him to remain the starter and I still feel that he should be the franchise guy.

I wanted him to be the franchise guy and starter last year as well. But he really screwed that one up.:D
