Round 5: WR Hawaii Kealoha Pilares

He must be from a WAC school who Hawaii has beat the last few years. He's a 5th round pick..hard to get too excited but I'm willing to give him a shot.

Nah - SEC East Chamions...and like I said, I will give Sweet P a shot and pull for him to develop into an awesome WR and Special Teams player.

Easy65 probably wrote that scouting report himself. Or found it on analysistswithdownsyndrome.com

Dude, don't be a 'hater' just because I don't smootch the staff's backside regarding every pick. I'm NOT just going to read the 'strengths' and the 'positives' - I am going to be more objective and read as much and study as much as I can about the picks. I hope they all develop into great players - I do. But I am not going to say 'Great Pick, best we could do' after every pick we make.

Sweet P may turn out to be a great pick - I hope so. I'm glad we picked a WR from Hawaii. If we picked one more Trojan Bust I was going to throw up!

Sounds like a good possession receiver.

Needs work on his hands and route running.

Two years out he'd be a solid receiver if he continues to progress as he did in Hawaii.

All these 4-7 round guys are a 50/50 shot at busting. But you occasionally get that guy that gets some knocks in evaluation that really don't stand up to the test of time. Could Pilares be that 10 year player, most likely not. But he'll probably be able to give us 4-5 years of solid service if he doesn't wash out in the first two.
