I agree with ESPN's assessment. Wish we had gotten Jordan Cameron or Julius Thomas.

Either that, or they missed their chance at the two that best fit what they're used to. (I think that's more likely, I envision a collective "fug" in the Panthers draft room when Denver took Thomas)

Yea, I meant I agree with their assessment that Green is not a blocker and still a project. I'm not big on Green, his only real appealing quality is his 40 time...there were other TEs better in every other aspect, like Thomas and Cameron. Those two were probably more unpolished, but better athletes, better hands, bigger bodies, etc.

haha he went to my high school so yes. He was a special teams player and evolved into a HB TightEnd role, played pretty well this year, and very well once pinalhto was hurt
