From MJ vs. Nique to Rose vs. Smith. This one is a nice matchup featuring the league MVP Derrick Rose. I doubted the Hawks in Rd 1, and they smashed Orlando, finally getting that monkey off their back. So surprisingly I'm gonna take the Hawks in 6 this series. I love Rose and think he's had a phenomenal year, but I think the Hawks beat them.

W/ Hinrich - Hawks in 6

W/Out Hinrich = Bulls in 5

Totally different team w/out Kirk. It showed on Thursday when he went out, the Hawks tried to throw that game away but barley held on.

Voted for the Hawks, cuz I want them to win. But sounds like Hinrich is out. Hawks NEED to take 1 of the first 2.

ATLANTA (AP)—Jeff Teague, it’s time to shine.

All he’ll have to do is hold his own against the NBA’s expected MVP, the guy who led the Chicago Bulls to more wins than any other team.

“It’s a tough situation,” Teague said Saturday, sitting at his locker after a lengthy practice with the Atlanta Hawks. “But these are the kind of moments you live for.”

The second-year guard is expected to take on a key role in the Eastern Conference semifinals after Kirk Hinrich went down in the closing minutes of a series-clinching win over Orlando with a severely strained hamstring.

Hinrich is unlikely to play in this round, meaning the Hawks have got to find a point guard who can run the offense and, most important, give Chicago star Derrick Rose some problems at the defensive end.

I updated the Hawks starting lineup above.
