Who should we take at #98?

Stumpy

TE Julius Thomas 6'5 260lbs

Thomas is straight from the Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham mode transitioning from the hardwood to the gridiron. His athletic aibliity, size, and upside make him a prospect I think could get drawn up the board with potential to eventually become a starter or high level #2 tight end in the NFL.

    • I'm gonna respectfully say that is debatable..... Besides. Does Jake Delhomme not still hold the record for the longest pass/reception in Super Bowl history? Let's not throw dirt on Jake's name to prop up Bryce Young. All this coming off a loss too. How about we not drive ourselves off a cliff high on hopium before we see this team against the Bucs and the Eagles. One week at a time.
    • I honestly didn't know that. Best news I've read all day. A healthy Wonnum, Clowney, Brown, and high Edge draft pick might actually be something to get excited about. I looked it up- A'Shawn Robinson is under contract as well. I wouldn't mind seeing us go back to a 4-3.  Extend Jaycee as well. A Dline with Clowney, Brown, Robinson, and Wonnum is pretty good on paper. Our linebackers still need work. And i support the churn to find other CBs besides Horn. If we can continue to get good QB play from BY9 (or elsewhere), and Dan Morgan can continue to build the team, especially on defense, as well as he did this season on offense, we could legitimately compete for the division next year. Considering how we started this season, this is as promising as i could hope for right now.
