Yes i need a clip of this "vacation" quote too, because this whole matter is becoming absurd.

I have much respect for Kurt as a player and liked watching him play. But i don't get his disdain for Cam, he may just be following the crowd on this one who knows.

Given his own beginnings as a qb, going undrafted and on to arena football before the rams gave him a chance in the nfl. You'd think that those experiences would give him a little extra pause on judging a player or their career before they've even played a snap in the nfl yet.

Everyone deserves a chance to prove their worth, Warner got his.

Does anyone have a link to the "vacation" comment? At the time I heard it live it sounded like he wanted to go on a vacation with his mother but I wasn't sure if he was saying his mother deserved a vacation or what.

I watched it live and it sounded more like a "I am going to Disney world" type of comments in response to how he was feeling you know it's overblown though. Hell he was in Charlotte putting in work from what we heard from Sal Pal yesterday.

I made a comment about him saying he was going on vacation, too. I was very disappointed when I heard that. But, I'm happy to see that he's been getting to work. The 'much needed vacation' comment sounded too much like Ryan Leaf who said he was going to celebrate with friends vs Manning who said he was going to get his playbook and get to work.

Warner is simply being honest. He has played the game and knows what sets apart a good QB from a bad QB and Newton must not even show the signs of having potential to be a good QB in Warner's eyes.

Why shouldn't he be critical? The draft would be boring if everyone only complimented players. I for one wouldn't want to watch such a homoerotic piece of television.

Just because Warner played the game, that doesn't mean he's the best judge of Cam Newton's character. Heck, Steve Young is a highly educated lawyer and a HOF QB, yet he makes moronic comments all the time. In fact, he may be the worst broadcaster on ESPN's staff, and that's saying something.

Well Mel Kiper has also made some really bad predictions. It's not an exact science. They just go on their gut feeling. No one knows for sure how these guys will do in the NFL.

If they did they'd have a job on an NFL team and not on a TV network.
