Kurt Warner is a hater...

I think I need to say that 100% of what I said in this thread is a joke. I didn't mean a single thing I posted. Kurt is a great guy, Panthers fans are not thick skinned, Christians are good people, we should not delete hater accounts, nothing wrong with being a stock boy(man), and anything else just let me know.

Kurt basically thinks only pocket passers can be franchise QB's, which is funny seeing how Aaron Rodgers won last season's SuperBowl and he was the 2nd leading rusher among QB's in the NFL right behind Vick. Don't get me wrong Rodgers is an elite passer but what makes him even more tough to contain is his mobility when plays break down.

No Cam will not be an elite passer the minute he steps on the field in the NFL, but I doubt there's a rookie QB who ever is, it takes the time and work effort to be great, and Kurt out of all people should know this seeing how he had to spend time in NFL Europe before getting his chance.

So even if Cam is not the polished passer at first that he may become doesn't mean he can't still be a effective QB and lead the Panthers to some wins.

I'm not telling anyone what to think, my message is simple. Simple to the extent I'm shocked you didn't get it. My message: Get over it.

I didn't want Cam, I still think it's a mistake and will hurt us. However, he's now a Panther and has 100% of my support; as such I hope he proves me and all doubters and critics wrong.

I got your message, something about being called a "whiny bitch" rubs me the wrong way... I'm just funny like that.

I'll get over it when I feel like getting over it if that's okay with you?

I'm glad to hear Cam has your support, that's how it should be. Cam has 100% of my support as well and when I hear Kurt Warner taking pot shots at him it pisses me off.

I've never really liked Warner's personality. He was a good QB (but only when he had two Pro Bowl WRs to throw to) but his personality has always screamed fake to me. He tries to hard to look like a good guy. It's like the person who says "Yea, I'm a great person with a great personality and I'm very nice and humble" they usually aren't any of those things. (One exception, during draft process all prospects are asked to describe themselves and have to say things like that. I think it's a stupid thing to ask people.)

Warner has always seemed very snobbish and stuck up to me. I remember one time my mom (who doesn't watch pro football) made a comment about reading how good a Christian Warner is and how good a guy he seems and I told her about my opinion about how fake he seems. After seeing a couple more interviews and stuff (this was during Arizona's Cinderella run to the Super Bowl) she saw what I was talking about.

Besides, he can't be that good of a Christian, I heard he sold his soul to Satan for that run to the SB with Arizona. That's the only possible explanation.

I hate to interrupt the collective freakout here, but if I read right, this...

...in the last segment when they talked about Cam visiting the Panthers, Kurt said he was stopping in before his vacation.

...is what everyone is going off about?

I'm not getting why this statement is a big deal. It actually sounds like something that could be just "matter of fact" since Newton did mention taking a vacation.

Why so sensitive? Does this fanbase have a collective little man complex or something?

When he takes his family out around town, Warner always has his kids pick out a random family (usually someone that looks like they could use a little help) and they'll pay for that family's dinner for that night.

Call me crazy, but I think I'd prefer to judge a man's character by actions that actually mattered as opposed to deeming him a lousy person because he said something I didn't like about my favorite team's quarterback.

But hey, that's just me... :sosp:

Yeah Kurt's a hater, but who cares? He just has high standards. He said stuff about Locker and Gabbert too, the only guy I heard him praise was Dalton. Players usually judge draftees differently, they want to know how ready they are to play RIGHT NOW.
