What negative issues?? I thought you didn't know about them troll? Guess you don't need links after all.

Plus since you nor I even know what happended what exactly would we be ignoring?? Ignoring something I don't know the facts about???

That is not ignoring, it is called not knowing dumbass. ;)

Again with the attacks?

All I had to do was look at the many threads on the front page of the Panthers forum. And if you paid any attention, you would have seen where I said I didn't read the thousands of threads about Newton.

Stay with me. If I have to, I can type slower.

I have not posted in a while, but I have to say...I dont like the Panthers taking Cam Newton #1.

According to scouts, Newton looks very very bad throwing out of the pocket. He has bad throwing mechanics. He couldnt learn the simplistic playbook at Auburn. Only attempted like 250 passes total at the Division I level. He scrambled something akin to 49% of the time. His completion % are skewed by a large # of dumpoffs and short slants(ala The Golden Calf of Bristol and any other spread QB).

I know he is an athletic freak, but my gosh. You dont draft an athletic freakishness. You dont take risks on a player and make no mistake, this kid is a very risky player to take. When you are in the Panthers position and the state they are in, with the #1 overall pick, you have to take a player you know will help you. That you can guarantee will help you. The Panthers not only did not that, they did the complete opposite and drafted a guy who probably has more question marks than any 1st round college QB in recent memory, if ever.

My link, because me and LaBreastia don't get along

Panthers draft round-by-round.html

How he fits: Could be the Panthers' right tackle of the future (where he would protect lefty Cam Newton's blind side as he did last season at Auburn), but would play behind Jordan Gross and/or Jeff Otah for the time being. Joseph Person and David Scott

So, you graduated from KT’s school of “Know The Thoughts And Beliefs Of People You Have Never Met”? You must have studied online, because I know the campus is here on the east coast.

Since you live on the west coast and we have never met, this message board is the only window of opportunity you have to get to know me. So if you paid any attention to my posts, here’s what you would have learned about me:

1) I don’t watch college football (sometimes I catch an NCSU game when I feel like I need to be punished for a wrong doing, but other than that, I don’t watch it). So, I have never seen Newton play or any of the college draft prospects play. I don’t know anything about any them.

2) I did not read the 4,739 threads about Newton posted on the Huddle (I was pretty sure that everything was covered about Newton in the first 300 threads, so why bore myself with the same topics being rehashed over and over?) Besides, I said I didn’t know anything about these draft prospects and didn’t want to waste my time reading all those threads about cam or the other 20 threads about all the other draft prospects if we didn’t know who was actually going to be a Panther until draft day.

3) Because I didn’t really know anything about any of the draft prospects, I was never on the Newton Haters Team, nor the Newton Nut Snugglers Team. Sure, I’d give KT, the President of the Newton Nut Snugglers Club poo, but that was because:

a) He referred to everyone that had any doubt regarding Newton as someone who was racist against black QBs.

b) He is constantly trying to give people a pile of poo and call it roses (by the way, that’s the quickest way for me to call someone out).

c) He is so easily stirred up and I can always get a response from him (yea, I know. But his responses entertain me so.)

So you see Kevin, I was asking a legitimate question. I thought it was pretty obvious to see that. And I thought you were clever enough to comprehend that as well.

No trolling from me. See my remarks to Kevin. Although, if you think my questions are out of line for this thread, I think we should change the title to "Get To Know Only The Positive Aspects Of Cam Newton". If that is done, I would be happy to delete all my posts in this thread.

Thanks rayzor. That's all I was asking for.

Since you are so smart, why don't you just google it? Lets see spend a couple days debating about being attacked for wanting information, or spend 2 minutes and look it up yourself. I swear 47 years old, and you are not independent enough to do this? Your intentions are clear.

    • Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.
    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
