I just think both these DTs are going to be very Corvey Irvin and Attiyah Ellison-like careers.

Fua was a starter for Harbaugh at Stanford and bc of that probably has a body of work to prove he can succeed so IMO he's the exact opposite of Corvey Irving. IDK if he starts day 1 but if he played at a high level for a coach like Jim Harbaugh then I like his chances.

12/07/10 - 2010 ALL PAC-10 FOOTBALL-SECOND TEAM (COACHES): DL - Sione Fua, Sr., Stanford, has been selected All Pac-10 Second Team for the 2010 college football season as selected by the Pac-10 head football coaches. 01/03/11 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: Much improved over last season, the Cardinal's run defense features an underrated three-man defensive front that enables the linebackers to make a lot of plays. NT Sione Fua may be the team's best defensive player, although he does not receive much publicity. The run defense numbers are enhanced by the fact that opponents are forced to pass so much because the Cardinal gets a big lead early, and teams have had some success running on Stanford. Oregon rushed for 388 yards against the Cardinal. - The Sports Xchange

03/26/11 - Stanford Pro day: Stanford had ideal conditions for its pro day, with 22 teams on hand to watch 16 players participate on March 17. The workouts were completed outdoors on FieldTurf. DT Sione Fua measured 6-foot-1, and weighed 310 pounds. He had a vertical leap of 27-inches and broad jump of 8.7 while he stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. He did participate in positional workouts. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com

Fua is a run stopping space eater who is big enough to demand a double team when he gets in Pro football shape. Julius is a speed edge rusher who creates pressure on the QB.

Two completely different body types, play styles and positions.

Needless to say Berman is still an idiot.
